

HYDERABAD, MARCH 29, 2025: Time for kindness, sharing and happiness. The Sister Nivedita School was delighted to celebrate the spirit of Ramadan. with great enthusiasm and joy. The principal of the school Dr. T. Lalitha Kumari, graced the occasion with her presence. The children were dressed up in traditional attire.

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar and is observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting, prayer, reflection, and community. It is considered one of the Five Pillars of Islam.
The program began with prayer. The significance of Ramadan month was explained to the students through a puppet show followed by a small skit presented by the students on Eid-Ul-Fitr day.
The little Niveditans tapped their feet on the songs of Eid.
The Eid -Ul- Fitr celebrations at school not only enriched students’ understanding of Islamic traditions but also nurtured values of kindness, unity, and generosity. As the holy month Ramadan continues, schools remain committed to fostering an environment where students learn the true essence of Ramadan—reflection, charity, and spiritual growth.
Teachers emphasized the importance of Eid – Ul – Fitr celebrations in creating an inclusive learning environment. “These activities help students understand and appreciate diverse traditions, encouraging respect and compassion among peers,” said the principal of the school T. Lalitha Kumari.
The chairman of the school Dr. Sudhakar Rao Polsani, the correspondent. M. Hari Hara Prasad and the principal of the school Lalitha Kumari conveyed their Eid greetings to the children, parents and the teachers by saying ” Eid Mubarak”.
