Vice-Chancellor Prof. K. Pratap Reddy and Registrar Prof. V. Ramachandram Congratulate Him
WARANGAL, OCTOBER 28, 2026: Prof. Y. Narasimha Reddy, Senior Professor, College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kakatiya University, has been conferred with the prestigious ‘Bheshaji Shiksha Ratna – 2026’ award by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). He received the award from the Chairman of PCI at a ceremony held in New Delhi on October 26, 2026.
On this occasion, Kakatiya University Vice-Chancellor Prof. K. Pratap Reddy and Registrar Prof. V. Ramachandram congratulated Prof. Narasimha Reddy on this achievement. They stated that the honour was a matter of pride for the University and recognised his valuable contributions to pharmacy education and research.
With nearly 30 years of teaching and research experience, Prof. Narasimha Reddy has published 180 research papers and guided 40 PhD scholars. He has authored four books and holds four patents. He has also served the University in various key positions, including Dean, Head of the University College, and Chairman of the Board of Studies, contributing significantly to academic and research development.
The Vice-Chancellor and the Registrar expressed their happiness over this prestigious recognition, noting that the achievement has brought further distinction to Kakatiya University. Several teaching and non-teaching staff members, research scholars, and students also congratulated Prof. Y. Narasimha Reddy on receiving the award.
