KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 20, 2026: The Prathima Foundation in Karimnagar has donated a Napkin incinerator machine to the Telangana Model School in Thimmapur mandal headquarters on the outskirts of Karimnagar town on Friday.
The initiative was taken by the Prathima Foundation for the promotion of menstrual hygiene and environmental sustainability. This initiative would ensure young girls have access to safe and dignified sanitary waste disposal solutions.
On this occasion, Prathima Foundation founder Dr Boinpalli Harini enlightened about the importance of menstrual hygiene and proper disposal of sanitary napkins. Gynaecologist Dr Geetha Reddy educated the students about the importance of health and nutrition during the menstrual period. School principal Vanaja and other faculty members were also present.
