
RAMGUNDAM, MAY 22, 2026: NTPC Ramagundam & Telangana commenced the Swachhta Pakhwada with great zeal and community participation through a vibrant Prabhat Pheri organised in the township on Friday.
The cleanliness drive was formally inaugurated by Chandan Kumar Samanta, ED (R&T), along with Rakhi Samanta, President, Deepthi Mahila Samithi (DMS). Their presence set an inspiring tone for the initiative, reinforcing the organisation’s commitment towards cleanliness and sustainability.

The Prabhat Pheri witnessed active participation from all General Managers, senior members of DMS, and a large number of NTPC employees, who came together to spread awareness on the importance of hygiene and a clean environment. The participants carried placards and raised slogans promoting the message of Swachhta across the township, engaging the community in a meaningful way.

A special highlight of the event was the enthusiastic and wholehearted participation of the Girl Empowerment Mission (GEM) girls. Their energy, discipline, and commitment added remarkable vibrancy to the rally. The GEM girls not only amplified the awareness drive but also exemplified the spirit of responsible citizenship and leadership among the youth.
The Prabhat Pheri successfully set the momentum for the Swachhta Pakhwada celebrations, reflecting NTPC Ramagundam’s collective resolve to uphold cleanliness as a shared responsibility and way of life.
