The KDCCB chairman thanks the government for allocating land to four PACS to start solar power generation under PM-KUSUM scheme

PEDDAPALLI, MAY 23, 2025: Peddapalli legislator Ch Vijaya Ramana Rao, along with Karimnagar DCB and NAFSCOB chairman Konduru Ravinder Rao, has formally inaugurated the own building of Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank (DCCB) in Sultanabad mandal headquarters on Friday.
Constructed on a sprawling 525 yards of land, the DCCB bank is fully equipped with all facilities, including lockers for the benefit of its customers. Incidentally, this is the 26th branch of the bank, housed on its own premises in the integrated Karimnagar district. On the other hand, the construction of their own buildings for the branches in Manthani, Kamanpur and Bejjanji was at a steady progress.
Speaking on the occasion, KDCCB chairman Konduru Ravinder Rao thanked the government for allocating land for four PACS in Manthani, Appannapet, Kalwa Srirampur and Nandi Medaram in Peddapalli district for setting up solar power units and generating power under PM-KUSUM (Pradhan Manthri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Uttaan Mahabhiyan) scheme.
Stating that the Union government had been giving top priority for strengthening the cooperatives by setting up a separate Cooperation ministry under the leadership of Amit Shah, Mr Rao urged the Telangana government to extend the same for the strengthening of cooperatives.
Recollecting that the Karimnagar DCCB, which was running in losses to the tune of over Rs 57 crore in the year 2005, Mr Ravinder Rao said that they had transformed the loss-making DCCB into one of the role model banks in the country by ensuring more than Rs 100 crore profits every year. He also said that they were providing services to customers on par with all commercial banks.
On this occasion, the dignitaries had distributed a Rs 1 lakh cheque to a farmer, Rajamallu, as part of a crop insurance facility provided by the bank. Incidentally, the Karimnagar DCCB provides crop insurance to the farmers, who avail tof he crop loans through the bank.
Appreciating the Karimnagar DCCB for its reforms and better services to the farmers in general and customers in particular, Peddapalli MLA Ch Vijaya Ramana Rao assured all assistance for the DCCB. KDCCB Vice Chairman P Ramesh, CEO N Satyanarayana Rao, Directors B Gopal Rao, Mohan Reddy, Sirigiri Srinivas, D Mohan, Zilla grandhalaya samstha chairman Annaiah Goud, DCO Srimala, AMC chairman Prakash Rao and others were also present.
