PEDDAPALLI, MAY 17, 2024: Collector Mr Muzammil Khan on Friday interacted with the participants of Girl Empowerment Mission (GEM-2024) workshop at NTPC Ramagundam. .
Speaking on the occasion, Muzammil Khan said that Education, Financial Independence and Confidence is the key to Empowerment. Education is the first step towards empowerment. He also urged everyone to try and support the women around us and help them to achieve their goals.
Further, Mr Kedar Ranjan Pandu, ED (R&T) said that the power of knowledge, skills, and self-belief that we aim to impart during this workshop is the key to unlocking a future where every girl can realize her full potential.
Sahashra and B. Akshara two participants of GEM-2019 Batch who scored 9.8 GPA and 9.7 GPA respectively in their SSC exams were felicitated by the Collector and NTPC ED. Girls of GEM-2024 showed their skills through various performances like dance, yoga, karate, songs and speeches. The Event concluded with a group photograph with all the GEM participants along with dignitaries present at the event. All GMs, HODs, senior members of DMS, representatives of Union and Associations, SC/ST Association, employees and their family members, GEM participants and their parents were also present at the event.
