JAGTIAL, JANUARY 23, 2025: NSS volunteers of the Government Degree College for Women (autonomous) and the Nehru Yuva Kendra in Jagtial town celebrated the ‘Parakram Diwas’ to mark the birth anniversary of freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on Thursday.
On this occasion, Girl Child Marriage Project Coordinator Bhoomesh conducted an elocution completion for the students and distributed prizes. SHE team inspector Soujanya enlightened the students about the SHE teams to check crime against women and girls. She informed them to approach the police if they found any eve-teasing or harassment in public places.
Incharge principal T Pramod Kumar, NSS programme officers N Sangeetha Rani, Sree Latha, Neeraja, Varaprasad, Ramachandram, Sunitha and Ganesh from NYK spoke on the occasion and enlightened the students about Netaji’s life, his ideals, values and his valour. The students were old to take inspiration from the life of the great freedom fighter.
