YADADRI BHUVANAGIRI, NOVEMBER 03, 2024: Padmasri Awardee Dr Kurella Vitalacharya has released a book titled “Sanjeeva Satyalu’ written by Srimanthula Veerabrahmam at his library in Vellanki village of Ramannapet mandal in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district on Sunday.
On this occasion, Dr Vitalacharya, a former government college principal, said that the book was written in a layman’s language which could be understood by intellectuals and ordinary readers. The book speaks of stark reality of life including family relations, old-age, growing of saplings for the future, saving for the future, problems of different professions and other issues.
VEDAS Association State President A Kumara Swamy presided over the meeting. Telangana State Residential Degree College for women, Nagunuru, Karimnagar, Telugu department lecturer, who participated as Guest of Honour, Erroju Venkateshwarlu, handed over his books ‘Black Board’ and ‘Erroju Pasidi Palukulu’ to Dr Vitalacharya.
Dr Vitalacharya felicitated Erroju with a shawl and handed over his books ‘Vitaleshwar Sathakam, Dondu Donde, and Nanela Netralu’ for the benefit of students of residential degree college for women in Nagunuru.
Mr Vitalacharya had converted his house into a library and stored more than two lakh books. Even Prime Minister Narendra Modi referred to Vitalacharya and his book collection and transformed his house into a library for the benefit of society. VEDAS general secretary T Venugopala Charyulu, treasurer Lakshmaiah, poets Emmudoju Badraiah, Sadasri, Satyanarayana Sastri, Govardhana Charyulu and others were also present.
