
RAMAGUNDAM, MAY 18, 2025: There was an overwhelming response to the mega job mela organised by the management of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) in association with Nobel Educational Empowerment Society in the Ramagungam-1 coal belt area on Sunday.
More than 5,100 candidates participated in the mela and over 3029 candidates secured employment in various firms such as IT, banking, marketing, finance, health care, retail etc. More than 100 companies participated in the job mela.

The mega job mela was formally inaugurated by Ramagundam legislator Makhan Singh Thakur, Government Advisor Harkara Venugopal Rao, SCCL Chairman and Managing Director N Balaram, directors D Satyanarayana, K Venkateshwarlu, and others by lighting the lamp.
The Ramagundam legislator said that the mega job mela was organised following the instructions of Deputy CM Mallu Batti Vikramarka and SCCL Chairman N Balaram for the benefit of local youth. He appreciated the management of Singareni for making elaborate arrangements for the candidates during this summer season by providing adequate air coolers, distribution of buttermilk and drinking water, tea and snacks and also lunch.
SCCL Chairman N Balaram said that they had employed more than 100 local youth at Godavarikhani by imparting training at the Skill Development Centre in Tilak Nagar in the coal belt region. Similarly, they had employed over 150 youth by training them as Volvo operators.
Ramagundam region’s general managers D Lalith Kumar, Sudhakar Rao and Bandi Venkataiah, SOT general manager Gopal Singh, DGM Kiran Babu, Nobel Educational Empowerment representative Suresh, AITUC branch secretary Arelli Posham and others were also present.
