Overwhelming response to Bandi Sanjay’s Prajahita padayatra in Karimnagar parliament constituency

KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 26, 2024: BJP National General Secretary and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar has kick started his second phase of ‘prajahita pada yatra’ in the Husnabad assembly from Koheda mandal headquarters on Monday.

On the occasion of his arrival, the BJP rank and file have erected posters and welcome arches to welcome Mr Bandi Sanjay. Before launching the yatra, Mr Sanjay offered prayers at Mahalakshmi temple and Sri Ram Dev Baba temple of Rajasthan seva samithi in Karimnagar town.

Later, he launched his yatra from Koheda mandal headquarters and disclosed the details allocated by the Union government for the development of the mandal and villages. The second phase of padayatra would cover Husnabad, Huzurabad, Manakondur, Choppadandi and Karimnagar assembly segments.

Mr Sanjay was accorded a warm and rousing reception in all villages he conducted the padayatra. The womenfolk had given harathi and applied tilak, the youth had participated in taking selfie pictures and senior citizens were seen blessing Mr Sanjay and others enthusiasts welcoming Sanjay with a giant garland. The youth were also seen bursting fireworks to welcome the BJP leader in the villages.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Sanjay claimed that there was overwhelming response to the prajahita padayatra in the Karimnagar parliament constituency. He exuded confidence that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would become Prime Minister for the third consecutive term as was evident with the response with all sections of society. He predicted that the BJP would win from all the 17 parliament constituencies.

Is it wrong to construct Ram mandir in Ayodhya?, he questioned and added that If Narendra Modi is not reelected as the PM, the Congress government would reconstruct Babri masjid at Ayodhya. Alleging that Minister for Transport Ponnam Prabhakar and former Minister K Taraka Rama Rao always make wild allegations against him, he demanded that the Congress government should clarify by what time they would fulfill the promises made to implement the six-guarantees including crop loan waiver of Rs 2 lakh to each farmer and Rs 2,500 financial assistance to each women.

He also alleged that the BRS government had diverted the funds allocated by the Centre for the rural development. He claimed that the BJP had played a crucial role for the ousting of BRS government in the Telangana state.
