RAMAGUNDAM, JANUARY 26, 2026: NTPC Ramagundam and Telangana celebrated the 77th Republic Day on Monday with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour.
The celebrations commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by Chandan Kumar Samanta, HOP (R&T), followed by an impressive parade by CISF personnel and school students, which was reviewed by the Chief Guest.
Addressing the gathering on the occasion of the 77th Republic Day, C.K. Samanta, HOP (R&T), expressed pride in the dedication and commitment of NTPC Ramagundam employees and acknowledged their significant contributions to the nation’s energy sector. He stated, “With your hard work and dedication, NTPC Ramagundam continues to provide sustainable and reliable energy to the nation.”
The celebrations were further enriched by a vibrant cultural programme, which added colour, charm, and energy to the Republic Day समारोह.
During the event, employees were also felicitated with the BUH Meritorious Awards in recognition of their outstanding contributions, which were warmly appreciated by all present.
The programme was graced by the presence of Rakhi Samanta, President, DMS; all GMs; Senior Commandant, CISF; HODs; HOHR; CMO; CISF officers; senior members of DMS; representatives of Unions and Associations; employees, school students, teachers, and a large number of other dignitaries and invitees.
