‘Nidhi Aapke Nikath 2.0’, district awareness and outreach programme on April 29

Karimnagar Regional PF Commissioner had imposed penalty of Rs 3.5 crore to over 250 establishments during last financial year

KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 26, 2024: Nidhi Aapke Nikath 2.0 (PF Near You), the grievance redressal programme of the Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) will be organising district awareness camp and outreach programme jointly with ESCI (Suvidha Samagam) in the integrated Karimnagar and Adilabad districts on April 29 (Monday).

In an official release here on Friday, Regional PF Commissioner, Karimnagar, Selvatkar Thanaiah, said that the theme of the programme “Pensioners Services-1’ such as member pension, death pension, widow and widower pension, orphan pension and disabled pension. The camps would be conducted PIMS, Naganuru in Karimnagar, Raghuram synthetics private limited, Sultanabad, Monak Beedi workers, Korutla, Thakur VS Beedi works, Padmanagar, Thangalapalli, Sircilla, Carmel convent high school, Mancherial, Sri Krishnaveni high school, Sirpur Khagaznagar, Nalanda degree college, Adilabad and St Thomas high school, Nirmal town.

The Nodal officers would brief about EPS scheme provisions and their benefits and also EPS-95 Pension schemes, eligibility to claim, documents required etc. They would also guide the members about how to register their grievances through grievance portal EPFiGMS or the members can register their grievances through email to ro.karimnagar@epfindia.gov.in.

Penalty of Rs 3.5 crore imposed

During the financial year 2023-24, the EPFO Karimnagar region had imposed a penalty of Rs 3.5 crore to around 250 establishments. The regional PF commissioner instructed the defaulting establishments to clear the dues immediately and advised to pay monthly ECR of every establishment within the stipulated  time to avoid the penalty and damages. For further clarification, he advised the members, claimants and beneficiaries  to visit his office  for necessary information.

Mr Thanaiah informed the members, pensioners, trade unions and employees association to participate in Nidhi Aapke Nikath district awareness and outreach programme to redress their grievances and convey suggestions in order to take new initiatives in the interest of the organisation.
