Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (A) to Host NCC Combined Annual Training Camp–III from June 13 to 22
KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 13, 2026: The closing ceremony of the Combined Annual Training Camp-II (CATC-II) was conducted at Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science on the outskirts of Karimnagar town with great enthusiasm and discipline on Friday evening.
The 10-day NCC training camp, organised at the JITS campus, included various activities such as drill practice, firing, obstacle training, map reading, field craft, battle craft, sports, cultural programmes, yoga, debates, quizzes, and social service activities
The JITS is also hosting the NCC Combined Annual Training Camp–III (CATC-III) from 13th to 22th June 2026 at its campus. The institution extends a hearty welcome to all the distinguished guests, NCC officials, and participating cadets for this prestigious training programme.
The camp is being conducted under the guidance of Col A. K. Jayanta, Commanding Officer, 9 Telangana Battalion, Karimnagar, and Lt Col V. Krishna, Administrative Officer, 9 Telangana Battalion, Karimnagar.

While 300 NCC cadets from the 9th Telangana Battalion, Karimnagar, are participating in this camp, 200 cadets from the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are set to take part in the Inter-Directorate Sports Shooting Competitions (IDSSC-II), Tal Sena Camp (TSC-II), and Inter-Directorate Shooting Competitions (IDSC-II).
The management of Jyothishmathi Group of Institutions, led by Chairman Sri J. Sagar Rao, Secretary and Correspondent Sri J. Sumith Sai, Principal Dr. T. Anil Kumar, and Dean Academics & Audit Dr. P. K. Vaishali, expressed their happiness in hosting this significant training camp. They emphasized that the institution remains committed to discipline, leadership development, and nation-building through NCC activities.
The camp aims to provide cadets with comprehensive training, discipline-oriented exposure, leadership skills, and a sense of national integration. Faculty members and NCC coordinators Lt G Jagdeeshwar, P I K Maheswar Reddy are actively guiding and supporting the students throughout the programme to ensure its successful conduct.
The management conveyed best wishes for the grand success of CATC-II and reaffirmed their continued support for NCC initiatives in shaping responsible and disciplined youth.
