

KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 08, 2024: National Cadet Corps (NCC) hone their firing skills as part of the 10-day NCC Combined Annual Training Camp being organised at St George International School (CBSE), Karimnagar town on Tuesday.


The junior wing and Division NCC cadets were taken to the Elgandal firing range to practice firing. As part of the training, the cadets were trained in weapon opening and closing. They were also made to participate in various weapons at the firing range.

Col NCC Daniel Lotzem, Commanding Officer of 9 Telangana NCC Battalion, said that a total of 562 NCC cadets from various colleges and schools of the integrated Karimnagar district were participating in the combined annual training camp at St George School. He said that along with regular drills, map reading, obstacle training etc eminent personalities from various walks of life were visiting the camp and conducting awareness programmes on health and hygiene, traffic problems, women’s health, seasonal diseases etc.
AO Rakeshwar Jaswal, SN Sagar Singh, PI staff, NCC officers Captain Rella Sanjeev, K Triveni and others were also present.
