KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 24, 2026: University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Satavahana University, on the shores of LMD reservoir in Karimnagar tow,n conducted National Voters’ Day under the supervision of the Principal, K Srisailam and NSS Programme Officer K Sunitha on Saturday.
The event aimed at spreading awareness about the importance of voting to make a well-governed society. The vote was seen as a responsibility and a right of an individual. The main events were a poster-making competition, which showcased the talent of students. They were also administered a pledge.
Addressing the students, the principal said every individual has a right to vote, and it equally gives them the power to choose and elect the one they think is worthy of power. He added that a collective sense of the voters can foster a healthy governance of the state. He also encouraged the students to participate in the competitions.
