

HYDERABAD, APRIL 08, 2025: National Institute of Plant Health Management, Hyderabad, on Tuesday (April 8, 2025) proudly hosted its Convocation for the 13th Batch of PGDPHM programme, marking a memorable milestone for the graduating students. The event was a grand celebration of academic excellence, resilience, and achievement. This course is unique in developing experts in Plant Health Management. It is an industry-oriented programme where an exclusive internship is provided to the students. For the first time, the Institute collaborated with CAB International (CABI) to offer exclusive electives in the area of Plant Health Management.

The ceremony was graced by Dr. Danda Raji Reddy, Vice Chancellor of Sri Konda Laxman Telangana Horticultural University, who delivered an inspiring keynote address, highlighting the importance of education and lifelong learning. The event also witnessed the presentation of degrees and special awards to outstanding students in recognition of their academic and extracurricular accomplishments.
Dr. Sagar Hanuman Singh, IPoS, Director General of NIPHM, congratulated the graduates, emphasizing the role of education in shaping future leaders. “Today, we celebrate not just the completion of academic programs but the journey of growth, perseverance, and discovery that each student has undertaken,” he said.
A total of 22 students graduated from the PGDPHM programme. The convocation ceremony was a testament to the hard work, dedication, and resilience of the graduating students, and a proud moment for NIPHM as it continues to nurture future leaders.
