RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, JANUARY 24, 2026: Government Degree and PG college, Gambhiraopet, Rajanna-Sircilla, under the auspices of the Women Empowerment cell of the college, celebrated the National Girl Child Day under the supervision of Principal V Vijaya Lakshmi on Saturday.
The program was convened by Assistant Professor V Vani, Women Empowerment Cell Convenor, and Assistant Professor M Prabhakar, Department of History.
Speaking on the occasion, the Principal stated that if every girl pursues education, they can attain a rightful place in society, enhance their reputation and dignity, gain social recognition, and achieve their rights. On this occasion, the Principal congratulated K. Radhika, a B.Z.C. first-year student, for presenting a poster presentation in connection with National Girl Child Day. Additionally, several students entertained the audience with speeches and songs as part of the celebrations.
Task Coordinator J Sravan Kumar, Scholarship Coordinator Adivishnu, K. V. Bikshamaiah, Manohar, Srinivas Sucharan, Krishna Prasad, Jagannatham Mahesh, Deepika Bhargavi, Ramya, Shankar, and other teaching and non-teaching staff, along with students, participated in the program and made the event a grand success.
