LUCKNOW, MAY 08, 2025: NABARD Chairman Shaji KV has formally inaugurated a two-day national conference on Share Services Entity and Cooperation Among Cooperatives at NBSC, Lucknow on Thursday (May 8, 2025).
As part of the International Year of Cooperatives, the NABARD had organised a two-day conference for strengthening the cooperatives. Speaking on the occasion, NAFSCOB chairman Mr Ravinder Rao welcomed the initiatives taken by the Union Ministry of Cooperatives under the leadership of Amit Shah to discuss various pros and cons and take appropriate measures for the strengthening of cooperative banks.
He said that the Union government initiatives would benefit the small cooperative banks in the long run. Ministry of Cooperation secretary Ashish Kumar Butani, Joint Secretary Siddarth Jain, Uttar Pradesh state RCS Sourabh Babu, and NABARD DMD Goverdhan Rawat, several officers looking after IT and other departments of the cooperative sector and others were also present.
