PEDDAPALLI, MARCH 04, 2024: The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) in association with the Spandana Seva Samithi, voluntary organisation, has formally launched advanced fashion designing training course for the economic empowerment of womenfolk at Venkatraopalli village of Jupalli mandal in Peddapalli district on Monday.
NABARD AGM Jaya Prakash formally inaugurated the 20-days training programme. On this occasion, Mr Jaya Prakash called upon the womenfolk to utilise the training for their economic empowerment and turn into entrepreneurs by setting up their own units. He informed the women SHG members to upgrade their skills by learning the latest techniques in fashion designing.
Spandana Seva Samithi, NGO, CEO Shoba Rani said that they were imparting several trainings for the women SHG members since last 15 years for their economic empowerment. She said that the advanced fashion designing training would be provided for 20 days and during the training they would be stipend and free food. She also said that the training material would be given free of cost for the participants, MPDO Padmaja, TGB branch manager Narsing Rao, Union Bank of India manager Suresh, Victory garment manager Varalakshmi and others were also present.
