KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 08, 2025: Students of Manair High School (CBSE), Padmanagar, Karimnagar town, ushered in Sankranthi festivities in a traditional way by letting their creativity flow with rangoli and traditional patterns on Wednesday.
The school was transformed into a rural setting with colourful rangolies, decorating of the campus with flowers and mango leaves. The girl students dressed up in the traditional attire while the boys donned the garb of Haridasu and the kite flying.
Manair School Director Kadari Sunitha Reddy launched the celebrations by lighting the lamp and participating in the ‘bhogi pallu’ celebrations by blessing the children. She also explained about the importance of Sankranthi festivities. Later, the students participated in the celebrations of ‘Bhogi mantalu’ (Sankranthi fire).
