KARIMNAGAR, DECEMBER 12, 2025: Likhith Chaitanya, a promising chess player from Manair Educational Institutions, Karimnagar, has achieved a remarkable milestone in his chess career. PET of the institution, Ciliivery Mahendar, informed that Likhith showcased exceptional skill at the recently held Under-1800 International Rating Chess Tournament in Vijayawada. Recognising his outstanding performance, the International FIDE Chess Federation has officially released the updated ratings, awarding him an International Elo Rating of 1503.
On this occasion, Manair Educational Institutions Chairman Kadari Anantha Reddy congratulated Likhith on his notable achievement. He stated that competing with internationally rated chess players and securing victory is truly commendable. He encouraged the student to aim for higher levels in the sport and highlighted that chess significantly enhances students’ intelligence and concentration.
