
KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 30, 2025: Manair High School, Padmanagar, Karimnagar, came alive with energy and enthusiasm as it hosted its 39th annual sports meet ‘Manair Khel-Khud’ 2025 on Thursday.
The event began with an impressive march past by the students of all houses, followed by the lighting of the torch by Manair Educational Institutions Chairman Kadari Anantha Reddy and the hoisting of the flag. He launched the games by serving the volleyball for a match.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Anantha Reddy said sports and games inculcated team spirit and discipline among the players. He further said events like this apart from providing opportunities to budding sportspersons to hone their skills also help them to stay fit and healthy and help them increase their concentration levels in the academics.
He said that the students who excel in sports would get two per cent reservations in education as well as higher education. Reminding the Manair Judo academy was helping students to excel at the state and national level competitions, he said that a record number of 38 school students had participated in the CM cup and excelled in various sports events such as Judo, karate, baseball, softball, chess, wrestling, kho-kho, kabaddi, volleyball etc.
Students from all classes showcased their talent and determination across a range of thrilling events, including sprints, kabaddi, volleyball, shot put, long jump high jump etc. Manair school director K Sunitha Reddy, Principals Raju Chako and Saritha Reddy, PETs S Mahender, Tirupati, Jaheda, Swamy, Sirisha and others were also present.
