KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 31, 2026: Trinity – The School of Learning, Salehnagar, Karimnagar, organised an educational trip titled “A Visit to the Bank” for the students of Grades IV & V on Monday. The students visited the ICICI Bank branches at Rekurti and Mankammathota Road, in Karimnagar, to gain practical knowledge of banking procedures and financial transactions.
During the visit, Ms P. Anusha, Branch Manager of the Rekurti Branch, and Mr. B. Mallesham, Branch Manager of the Mankammathota Branch, along with their teams, explained various banking operations, including savings and deposits, minor savings accounts, ATM usage, cheque transactions, cash deposits and withdrawals, and different types of loans. The students were also shown various sections of the bank and guided on how to fill out deposit and withdrawal vouchers.
The interactive session helped students develop basic financial awareness and a practical understanding of banking operations. The aim was to empower students to undertake money transactions independently and understand how a bank functions. The aim was also to encourage students to opt for banking as a career option. This edu-trip to the bank was an attempt to teach kids how mathematical skills and logical ability are replied to our everyday life. In the bank, the students learnt how to open their own bank accounts. The students learnt the use of the ATM as well.
Chairman Dasari Prashanth Reddy stated that education should go beyond textbooks and provide students with real-life learning experiences. Academic Director Dr Dasari Mamatha Reddy emphasised the importance of experiential learning, while Principal Ratnamala Behara highlighted the school’s commitment to practical and activity-based education. The visit was an informative, meaningful, and memorable learning experience for the students.
