

KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 08, 2025: The Final year LLB Students of Justice Kumarayya Law College, Karimnagar town, have participated in a Blood donation camp organised by the Indian Medical Association (IMA) Karimnagar chapter on the occasion of the World Health Day on Monday in Karimnagar town.

With the motivation of pediatrician Dr Ch Vijay Kumar, who is also pursuing LLB course in the college, the students S Rajender, N Naresh, Vijay, M Niranjan, L Ravi Nayak and Akash donated blood. On this occasion, Ravi Nayak celebrated his birthday with much pomp and gaiety by donating blood and cutting the cake. Inspired by a noble gesture of Ravi Nayak, his friends Santosh Nayak and Vijay Nayak also came forward and donated blood.
A law student, M Niranjan, who has a rare blood group of AB –ve, has donated blood, which was immediately used for a patient undergoing surgery at the Mother and Child Health Centre (MCHC) in Karimnagar town. Besides, eight other lawyers also donated the blood for the noble cause to help save lives.
On this occasion, IMA Karimnagar district treasurer and law student Dr Ch Vijay Kumar lauded the noble gesture of his classmates for coming forward and donating blood to save lives. IMA president Dr A Naresh, secretary Dr S Naveen, Government hospital blood bank incharge Dr Usha Kandal, Law college principal Jalaja and others graced the programme and appreciated the students for donating the blood.
