KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 31, 2024: Praying to bring prosperity and good fortune to the people, the Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank (DCCB) celebrated the Goddess Lakshmi puja, revering the Hindu deity of wealth and riches, with religious fervour and gaiety on Thursday, the occasion of the Diwali festival.
The Goddess Lakshmi puja was conducted at the KDCCB Main Branch in Karimnagar. CEO N Satyanarayana, Director V Mohan Reddy, AGMs T Nagaraju, G Mahesh, Brahmananda Rao, Main branch manager K Sunil, PACS development centre resource person G Satyanarayana, and other staff participated in the puja rituals. Amid chanting of Vedic hymns, the priest conducted the Lakshmi puja in the main branch and performed puja on the bank chest and locker.
As part of the celebrations, the bank was decorated with lamps, flowers, mango leaves, a bunch of paddy and other decorative items. After the puja, the sweets were distributed to the staff and they lit fireworks as part of the celebrations.
