WARANGAL, OCTOBER 12, 2026: Kakatiya University Vice-Chancellor Prof. K. Pratap Reddy released the poster for a two-day national conference to be organised by the Department of Microbiology on December 3 and 4, 2026, on the theme “Microbes for Sustainable Future: Innovations and Emerging Perspectives.”
Conference organisers E. Sujatha and P. Venkataiah invited research papers from researchers, faculty and students. The conference will explore microbial technologies, innovations and emerging research opportunities in agriculture, healthcare and environmental protection.
Registrar Prof. V. Ramachandram, OSD Prof. B. Venkatram Reddy, BoS members, Campus College Principal Prof. T. Manohar, faculty members and other university officials participated in the programme.
KU Research Scholar Awarded PhD in Economics
Kakatiya University has awarded a PhD in Economics to research scholar Maloth Venkanna for his thesis titled “Participation of Tribal Women in Agriculture – A Study in Telangana State,” under the supervision of retired faculty member D. Swaroopa Rani.
Controller of Examinations Prof. Rajendar Katla announced the award. Hailing from Bhavanigadda Thanda, Katrapalli Gram Panchayat, Kesamudram Mandal, Venkanna was congratulated by faculty, non-teaching staff, research scholars and students.
