KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 06, 2024: To promote athleticism and teamwork among students, KIMS Group of Institutions has formally launched two-day sports meet seasoned-4 at Ambedkar stadium in Karimnagar town on Wednesday.
KIMS group of institutions Vice Chairman Periyala Saketh Rama Rao inaugurated the sports meet by lighting the lamp and launching the cricket match by playing few batting shots. The students of various colleges of KIMS group would be participating in several sports events such as kabaddi, kho-kho and other games.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Saketh said that through sports, students also have the opportunity to take on leadership roles, nurturing qualities like responsibility, decision-making, and accountability. Moreover, sports teach students how to persevere in the face of setbacks and defeats, arming them with the mental fortitude to overcome challenges.
KIMS Degree& PG College principal Arjun Rao, Hotel Management Principal Anush Reddy, MBA Principal Krishna Mohan, Law College Principal Naveen, B Ed Principal Adhi Narayana, Faculty members and more than 500 students attended the sports meet.
