KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 22, 2024: The Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank (KDCCB) Main branch in Karimnagar town has settled a claim under Pradhan Manthri Jeevan Jyothi Bima (PMJJBY) on Tuesday.
KDCCB CEO N Satyanarayana Rao handed over a Rs 2 lakh PMJJBY cheque to a nominee of a customer who passed away. Bank account holder Atla Swapna from Nallaguttapalli village in Karimnagar mandal passed away on September 14, 2023. As she was covered in the life insurance policy of PMJJBY, the nominee Srilakshmi, a ninth class student was handed over Rs 2 lakh cheque.
On this occasion, Mr Satyanarayana Rao appealed to the customers to maintain sufficient balance in their accounts, those who opted for the insurance facility of PMJBY and PMSBY. He also informed the customers to opt for the insurance policy of very low premium amount. General manager Md Riazuddin, Main Branch manager K Sunil and others were also present.
