
SIIDDIPET, SEPTEMBER 17, 2026: Kaveri University, Gowraram, Telangana, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK), Department of Information Technology, Electronics & Communications (ITE&C), Government of Telangana, for the academic year 2026–27. The collaboration aims to strengthen skill development, employability, industry exposure and professional preparedness among students.
Through this MoU, students will have opportunities to participate in technical training, soft-skills programmes, professional and employability skill development, workshops, industry-oriented certification programmes and career-development initiatives. These programmes will enhance students’ practical knowledge, communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, professional competencies and workplace readiness.
The association will also support placement-oriented initiatives for final-year students, providing exposure to industry practices, recruitment processes, workplace expectations, corporate culture and emerging career opportunities, thereby facilitating a smooth transition from academia to the professional world.
In addition, the collaboration will facilitate Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), capacity-building initiatives and industry visits, enabling faculty members to stay updated with emerging technologies, contemporary industry practices and evolving skill requirements.
Speaking on the occasion, Professor Dr. V. Praveen Rao, Vice Chancellor, Kaveri University, said at Kaveri University, we believe education must go beyond the classroom and equip students with the skills, exposure and competencies required to succeed in a rapidly changing professional environment. Our association with TASK strengthens the bridge between academia, industry and skill development. Through structured training, certifications, industry exposure and placement-focused initiatives, we are confident of enhancing the employability, confidence and professional capabilities of our students and preparing them as industry-ready graduates.
