WARANGAL, SEPTEMBER 30, 2026: Kakatiya University conducted selections for its Archery teams on September 30, with around 25 men and women athletes from Adilabad, Khammam and Warangal districts participating in the Indian Round, Recurve and Compound categories.
The selected KU teams will participate in the All India Inter-University Archery Championships to be held in December at Tejas University, Assam, informed KU Sports Board Secretary T. Sastry.
KU Vice-Chancellor Acharya K. Pratap Reddy inaugurated the selections, while Registrar Prof. V. Ramchandram congratulated the participating athletes. S. Kumar, In-charge of the Inter-Collegiate Tournament, said a 15-day coaching camp would be conducted at the KU grounds to prepare the selected athletes for the All India championships.
ATBT Prasad, Arts & Science PD Anjaneyulu, PD Suman, New Science College PD and Senior Physical Director Parveen were among those present.
