KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 15, 2026: The 80th Independence Day was celebrated with immense patriotic fervour by the students and staff of the Jyothishmathi Academy (CBSE) School, Jyothinagar, Karimnagar town, on Saturday.
The students expressed their love for the nation through a series of captivating dance and music performances. Dressed in the vibrant colours of the Tricolour, the students began the celebration with a medley of heartwarming patriotic songs, followed by a stirring poem recitation. Their performances echoed a deep commitment to the nation, celebrating unity in diversity and a willingness to sacrifice for the country. The tiny tots came dressed up as freedom fighters and soldiers. The school was decked up with Tricolours and balloons.
The celebration concluded with the National Anthem and a message urging students to embrace their roles as responsible citizens and future leaders of the nation. Chairman J Vijaya Sagar Rao addressed the gathering and paid tribute to the brave freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives, happiness and families for the liberty we enjoy today. She encouraged the students to stay true to their Indian roots, no matter where life takes them.
