KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 17, 2026: Students of Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Sciences (JITS), who have won the first prize at the national-level Hackathon conducted by CBIT Hyderabad for SUDGEE 2026, have met the JITS chairman, Juvvadi Sagar Rao, on the college premises in Karimnagar on Tuesday.
The CSE third year students T Bhavani (23271A05H9), who is Team Leader, and members Shifa Tabaseem (23271A05C9) and Ch Vyshnavi (23271A05M7) have presented the first domain (project title is “Green Genie -AI and IoT-based smart farming support”) and won the first prize, including a cash prize of Rs 12,000.

On this occasion, the students presented the award to the JITS chairman, who congratulated the students for bringing a reputation to the institution. He also appreciated the faculty members for their constant guidance and encouragement of talent among students. The students thanked the college management for their support to help them excel in their chosen field.
