

Students presented a project on AI Crop Care to check crop disease and promote sustainable farming practices

KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 06, 2025: Students of Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Sciences (JITS), Karimnagar town, have excelled at the National level Hackathon conducted at COHORT, Hyderabad, by securing first place among the 92 competing teams on Sunday.
The students Ajith – IV Year, CSE A, Akshith – IV Year, CSM A and Ramesh – IV Year, CSE C presented a project AI Crop Care, an AI-powered solution to detect crop diseases and promote sustainable farming practices. The students were awarded a cash prize of ₹10,000, certificates, and event T-shirts for their outstanding performance!
JITS Chairman Juvvadi Sagar Rao, secretary J Sumith Sai, Principal Anil Kumar, Dean PK Vaishali and others congratulated the students and CSE HoD R Jegadeesan and team mentor for bringing glory to the prestigious institution.
