JITS chairman donates RO water plant to Mudapalli villagers

RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, FEBRUARY 07, 2024:  In a humane gesture, Jyothismathi Institute of Technology and Sciences (JITS) chairman Juvvadi Sagar Rao has donated a RO water plant to the Scheduled Castes colony in his native Mudapalli village of Chandurthi mandal in Rajanna-Sircilla district on Wednesday.

Mr Sagar Rao, who was born and brought up from this interior village, has won accolades for his social service activities in the village for several decades. Incidentally, this is the second RO water plant installed in the village by Mr Sagar Rao in memory of his brother J Anand Rao. The first one was set at Grama panchayat office and the second one at the SC colony for the benefit more than 250 families.

He played a crucial role in the upgradation of upper primary school into a High school for the benefit of students. He is also distributing notebooks and other stationery material for the students of the high school every year.

Later, he interacted with the villagers including former sarpanches through video conference and shared pleasantries. He informed the villagers to maintain the RO water plant properly by constituting a committee. He also assured the villagers to provide cool RO water plant by providing the necessary refrigerator. He also promised to take up repairs of the RO plant at Grama panchayat office which developed some technical snags.

Earlier, former sarpanches of the village Anji Babu, Kantha Rao, villagers J Yesu Das and several community leaders and others inaugurated the RO water plant and thanked the noble gesture of JITS chairman J Sagar for taking up several developmental works in his native village.
