Investiture ceremony at Vivekananda Residential School (CBSE) in Karimnagar

KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 06, 2024: To inculcate a sense of responsibility and commitment among the students and to create awareness about self-governance, an investiture ceremony was conducted at the Vivekananda Residential School (VRS) CBSE in Karimnagar town on Tuesday.

This year’s student council embodies a diverse blend of talent and dedication, with Md. Loqman was bestowed as the Head Boy and Disha Dey was bestowed as the Head Girl. The deputy head boy and head girl, the editorial board incharges, cultural secretary,  and all the incharges in both high school and primary were the other members of the student council. Student council was given sashes and badges by the dignitaries. Principal Renuka Balivada administered the oath to the student council.

As they took their oath of office, pledging to serve their peers and the school community with dedication and impartiality, the atmosphere was charged with excitement and anticipation. Karimnagar DEO Ch VS Janardhan Rao was the chief guest and School Director (Academics) T Lalitha Kumar and the parents participated in large numbers.

Speaking on the occasion, the DEO commended the newly appointed leaders, urging them to exemplify integrity, empathy and diligence in their roles. Director Lalitha Kumari echoed these sentiments, encouraging the student council to embrace their roles with enthusiasm and dedication. As the investiture ceremony drew to a close, it was also an occasion to celebrate excellence in different fields. Students who excelled in different inter-school competition were honoured, inspiring their peers to strive for excellence in all endeavours. VRS chairman Dr Polsani Sudhakar Rao congratulated the newly elected student council on the occasion.
