

HYDERABAD, SEPTEMBER 22, 2025: In a significant step towards professional development and academic enrichment, Bhoj Reddy Engineering College for Women proudly inaugurated three student chapters of the IEI – CSE-AI&ML, EEE and IT – today at a grand ceremony held on campus.
The event was graced by distinguished Chief Guests – Dr Seetha Ram Babu, FIE, Secretary IEI, Telangana State Centre; Dr I Satyanarayana Raju, FIE, IEI-Council Member & National Chairman, IEI -R&D Committee; Er B Brahma Reddy, FIE, CMD-BR Technologies, Advisor SLV Board, Imm Past Chairman IEI; who inspired students with their presence and insights. The gathering also saw the esteemed attendance of Dr V Sudha, Secretary-SLV; Dr Ch. Sujatha Gangadhar, COO; Dr Gracy Saila Sree, Director HR & Academics; Dr G Shyama Chandra Prasad, Principal-BRECW; Mr G Dayakar Reddy, Vice Principal, HODs, faculty members and enthusiastic students from various disciplines.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome and a brief address by the Principal, who highlighted the importance of such platforms in bridging academic learning with real-world engineering practices. Dr Seetha Ram Babu, in his keynote address, emphasised the vital role professional chapters like IEI play in shaping competent, industry-ready graduates. This was followed by Dr I Satyanarayana Raju, who elaborated on the objectives, activities, R&D funded projects and legacy of IEI, encouraging students to actively participate and make the most of this opportunity. Er B Brahma Reddy delivered a compelling talk on women’s empowerment in engineering and technology, urging students to lead with confidence, innovation and purpose in traditionally male-dominated sectors.
A key highlight of the event was the unveiling of the IEI Chapter Certificates by the Chief Guests, marking the official commencement of chapters CSE-AI&ML, EEE and IT at the institution. The unveiling was met with applause and enthusiasm, symbolising a new chapter of growth and collaboration for the students.
In the concluding segment, the executive body members of the IEI Student Chapters were officially selected and introduced, setting the tone for future leadership and chapter activities. The inauguration marked a pivotal moment in the college’s journey towards academic excellence and professional engagement, empowering students to evolve into future-ready engineers and changemakers.
