
KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 24, 2025: Doctors associated with the Indian Medical Association (IMA) Karimnagar Chapter conducted a medical camp on the occasion of National Girl Child Day at Government High School, Subhashnagar in Karimnagar town on Friday.
The doctors provided medical check-ups and awareness for young girls from sixth to tenth class. The lady doctors enlightened the girls about reproductive health and the information about important health issues affecting girls. The doctors conducted various medical tests and distributed medicines free of cost to the students and empowered them with good eating habits. The Doctors found thatthe majority of adolescent girls were suffering from anaemia and distributed necessary iron tablets.
The programme was taken up as part of ‘Aao Gaon Chale’ by the IMA Karimnagar chapter. President Dr Anamalla Naresh, secretary S Naveen Kumar, treasurer Ch Vijay Kumar, Dr Anamalla Sridevi, Dr Sesha Shailaja, Dr Nayani, Dr Tatvika, Dr Meghana, Dr Radhika, Dr Jyothi, Dr Pavitha, Dr A Srinivas, school principal B Laxma Reddy and others were also present.
