KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 15, 2024: HUM, a voluntary organisation in Karimnagar town, felicitated the organisers of a Ganesh mandap in Ramnagar for worshipping the 30-feet clay idol to protect the environment from pollution in Karimnagar town on Sunday.
The organisers of Mitra Youth Association installed a huge 30-feet idol made of clay and other eco-friendly materials of Lakshmi Vidya Mahaganapathi in Ramnagar by working for more than 50 days.
To encourage the organiser of Ganesh mandap to promote eco-friendly Ganeshas, HUM founder president Danapuri Sagar had felicitated the organisers. Appreciating the organisers of Ganesh mandap for worshipping clay idols, he called upon other Ganesh mandal organisers to use clay idols and protect the environment from pollution. Mitra Youth Association leaders Akhil, Nikhil, Sai, HUM representatives K Venugopal Sharma, K Ravikumar and others were also present.
