HYDERABAD, AUGUST 10, 2026: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar appealed to people to make the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign a grand success across the state as part of the ensuing Independence Day celebrations. The Minister asked BJP workers to ensure that the National Flag is hoisted at every home as part of the campaign.
As part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar hoisted the National Flag at his residence in Hyderabad. He later left for Delhi to attend the Parliament sessions. On this occasion, he spoke to the media. The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign begins across the country from today, he asked BJP workers to successfully organise ‘Tiranga Yatras’ across the state.
He appealed to every Indian, including students, to participate in large numbers, without any differences of caste, religion or community, and voluntarily hoist the National Flag at their homes.
Bandi Sanjay said this is a golden opportunity to remember the sacrifices of the freedom fighters and to show our love, respect and patriotism towards the nation. Ahead of Independence Day, he asked party workers to clean and maintain the statues of great leaders and freedom fighters from August 12 to 14 and conduct special cleanliness drives around the memorials.
He suggested organising Tiranga rallies, patriotic programmes and special awareness programmes in every village and at every major junction across the state.
The Minister said that after the Modi government came to power at the Centre, the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign has grown into a major social movement that connects every citizen emotionally with the nation. He said the campaign is being conducted on a grand scale every year.
He said, “Our National Tricolour is a symbol of the unity, togetherness and integrity of all Indians. Every party worker should act responsibly to create a patriotic atmosphere across the district and ensure that the National Flag is hoisted at every home. Everyone should work together to make the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign a grand success.”
