KARIMNAGAR, DECEMBER 29, 2024: There was a good response to the preliminary round of the quiz competitions wherein over 600 students participated in the written examination for the Dasari Narasimha Reddy memorial integrated Karimnagar district inter-school quiz competitions conducted at the IVY International School (CBSE) in Karimnagar town on Sunday.
The students from various government and private schools have participated in the preliminary round of quiz competitions which was inaugurated by Karimnagar Mayor Y Sunil Rao, SUDA chairman Komatireddy Narender Reddy, Seetharampur Municipal corporator Jangili Sagar, IVY school chairman Pasula Mahesh, Siddartha schools chairman Dasari Sripal Reddy and others.
The students studying eighth, ninth and tenth classes from various schools actively participated in the written test. The organisers would select eight teams from the written examination for the final quiz competitions which would be conducted on January 4, 2025. The winners would be given cash prizes of Rs 7001, Rs 5,001 and Rs 3,001 respectively. The quiz competitions would be conducted on current affairs, Indian history, geography, sports, abbreviations and general knowledge.
