Karimnagar District Judge Prathima offers prayers at Mahshakthi temple
KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 10, 2024: As part of ongoing Navarathri celebrations at Sri Maha Shakthi temple in Chaitanyapuri in Karimnagar town, the temple authorities have decorated Goddess Durga with turmeric sticks on Thursday, the eighth day of the Navarathri festivities.

Maa Durga is the symbol of ‘Shakthi’ destroying the evil in society in the same way turmeric kills bacteria and other germs. The devotees wearing ‘Bhavani Deeksha’ and others thronged the temple shrine in large numbers to have darshan of the deities Goddess Durga, Goddess Mahalakshmi and Goddess Saraswathi.
On the other hand, Karimnagar district Principal sessions judge Prathima visited the temple shrine and offered prayers. The temple authorities accorded a traditional welcome to the district judge. Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar also participated in the puja rituals along with the district judge.
