Hindi Diwas also celebrated
KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 12, 2026: Vivekananda Residential School (CBSE), Karimnagar, celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with devotion, enthusiasm and a strong message of environmental responsibility on Saturday. The special assembly was filled with the spirit of festivity through devotional songs, vibrant dance performances and meaningful speeches by the students.
The celebration also highlighted the importance of Hindi Diwas, with students presenting speeches that emphasised the significance of Hindi and the richness of India’s linguistic heritage.
As part of the Co-Curricular Activities, students participated in the Eco-Friendly Ganesha activity based on the theme “Tradition with Responsibility.” The activity encouraged students to celebrate traditions while being mindful of their impact on the environment. Students showcased their creativity by promoting the use of eco-friendly materials and spreading awareness about responsible celebrations.
Addressing the students, Principal Dr. R. Retheesh spoke about the significance of celebrating festivals with devotion while protecting nature. He encouraged students to uphold traditions in ways that contribute positively to society and the environment.
Chairman Dr. Polsani Sudhakar Rao and Director (Academics) Dr. T. Lalitha Kumari conveyed their warm wishes to the students and staff on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi and Hindi Diwas.
The celebration concluded with a message that beautifully captured its spirit: traditions become truly meaningful when celebrated with responsibility towards our environment and society.
