RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, AUGUST 14, 2024: A grand farewell party was organised for the transferred lecturers of Government Degree and PG College in Gambhiraopet of Rajanna-Sircilla district on Wednesday.
GDC Gambhiraopet lecturers Pitla Dasu and B Srivalli have been transferred during the recent transfers and history lecturer Prabhakar joined the college following his transfer.
Participating as Chief Guest, NAFSCOB and Karimnagar DCCB chairman Konduru Ravinder Rao congratulated Mr Pitla Das, who played a crucial role in increasing the strength of the college, creating more infrastructure and development of the college including securing NAAC B Plus certification. Similarly, Srivalli has been working in the Gambhiraopet region for the last 24 years as an SGT teacher and has grown up as a Degree college lecturer, he said and added that she also played a crucial role in the development of the college. He informed the newly joined history lecturer Prabhakar to strive to transform the future generation.
College principal V Vijayalakshmi recollected the services of Mr Das and Srivalli for securing NAAC B plus for the college. On this occasion, the transferred lecturers and newly appointed lecturers were felicitated.
