JAGTIAL, SEPTEMBER 09, 2026: The “EUPHORIA–2026”, a Freshers’ Party, was celebrated grandly and vibrantly at SKNR Government Arts & Science College, Jagtial, to warmly welcome the newly admitted students into the college family on Wednesday (September 09, 2026). The programme was organised enthusiastically by the second- and third-year students, who extended a warm and affectionate welcome to the freshers.
The programme was presided over by the Principal, P. Indira Devi, who addressed the students and emphasised the importance of the college years in shaping their future. She advised the students to pursue their studies with dedication, discipline and a focused mind. She encouraged them to set high goals, work hard with determination and make the best use of the opportunities available to them. She expressed her wish that every student would achieve a respectable and successful position in life and conveyed her best wishes to all the freshers.
The Chief Guest, Manchala Krishna, District Secretary of the Indian Red Cross Society, Jagtial, and Heartfulness City Coordinator, addressed the students and advised them to lead a happy, healthy and positive life. He emphasised the importance of maintaining mental peace, developing a positive attitude and cultivating human values along with academic excellence. He encouraged the students to excel in their studies and grow into responsible and useful members of society.
The Guest of Honour, Sri Ramesh Babu, DIEO, motivated the students to excel in academics and equip themselves with the skills required in the modern competitive world. He stressed that merely obtaining a degree is not sufficient in today’s rapidly changing technological environment. Students should acquire skills in Artificial Intelligence (AI), computers, communication and other emerging technologies to enhance their employability and career prospects. He advised them to continuously upgrade their knowledge and skills, set ambitious goals and work with determination to achieve them. He wished every student success in reaching greater heights in life.
As part of the celebrations, the senior students interacted with the freshers in a friendly and cordial atmosphere. Various cultural programmes, games, entertainment activities, dances and musical performances were organised. Students participated enthusiastically, making the event colourful, lively and memorable.
The EUPHORIA–2026 celebrations provided an excellent opportunity for the freshers to interact with senior students and become familiar with the college environment. The programme promoted friendship, unity, confidence and a sense of belonging among the students.
The celebrations concluded on a joyful note, leaving the freshers with pleasant and memorable experiences of their first major event at SKNR Government Arts & Science College.
A large number of faculty members, staff, senior students and freshers participated in the programme and contributed to its grand success.
