
Literature: the art of turning thoughts into timeless journeys
HYDERABAD, OCTOBER 25, 2024: Sister Nivedita School, Ameerpet, Hyderabad, organised an annual Literary Fest for the students of Class 1 and 2 to celebrate literature, foster a love for reading, writing, and the arts, and provide a platform for intellectual exchange and creative expression on Friday.
Children participated actively in the fest with enthusiasm. The Class 1 children participated under the theme “My Beloved Toy” and Class 2 children participated under the theme “Tale Telling”. The fest offered numerous advantages, both for the participants and the audience. Its impact extended beyond mere entertainment and influenced emotional, cognitive, and social development.
The parents viz Dr. Shilpa, Mrs. Chetana Srinivasan, Mrs. Mou Bhattacharya, Mrs. Afreen Begum who have graciously accepted our invitation to serve as judges for the competitions and The principal Dr. T. Lalitha Kumari were delighted to welcome esteemed parent judges to the school. This initiative strengthened the bond between the school and families and was not only a success but also a delightful experience for the parents involved. Their participation brought a new level of engagement and enriched the event with diverse perspectives.
Parent judges expressed great enthusiasm about their role as judges. They shared that they found the experience both fulfilling and insightful. They said, “It was an absolute joy to witness the incredible talent of the students first-hand. Judging the competition allowed us to see our children’s creativity and hard work in a new light”. Their involvement enhanced the event, bringing a fresh perspective to the judging process and leaving a lasting impact on both the parents and students.
Chairman of the School Dr Sudhakar Rao Polsani, Correspondent Rtn. Harihara Prasad and Principal Dr T. Lalitha Kumari appreciated the incredible talent and hard work of students and thanked parent judges for gracing the occasion, for their dedication and wished good luck to everyone.
