
RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, FEBRUARY 07, 2025: On the occasion of National Girl Child Day, which was celebrated on January 24, the Telangana Social Welfare residential degree college for Women in Shatrrajupalli, Vemulawada, is conducting a series of events January 24 and running through to International Women’s Day on March 8. The main goal of the programme is to empower girls to take charge and lead the future.
These activities aimed to help the students of TGSWREIS discover and showcase their hidden talents, while also encouraging them to overcome social challenges and reach greater heights in life.
During the first week, known as “Creativity Week,” students came together for a series of events under the theme “Girls Lead the Way.” They presented their artwork, showcased posters, and participated in a drama competition focused on women leaders throughout history.
The programme was filled with energy and enthusiasm, with Principal K Lavanya, Vice Principal B Sumalatha, Cultural Committee Coordinator S Sandhyarani, committee members, teaching staff, and students all actively involved.
