HYDERABAD, APRIL 14, 2026: English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) Vice Chancellor Prof N Nagaraju has paid floral tributes to the Father of the Indian Constitution and Bharath Ratna Dr BR Ambedkar on the occasion of his 136th birth anniversary celebrations on the university campus on Tuesday.
The Vice Chancellor drew the attention of the university community to the continued relevance of Dr B. R. Ambedkar’s vision. He said Babasaheb Ambedkar was not only the architect of the Indian Constitution, but was also the founding father of the Republic of India. He acted against social discrimination and raised his voice in support of women’s and children’s rights.
Registrar, Proctor, faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students participated actively in the ceremony, reflecting the collective spirit of the University community. Their presence and involvement underscored a shared commitment to honouring Dr Ambedkar’s legacy and carrying forward his vision of equity, dignity, and empowerment.
