HYDERABAD, SEPTEMBER 02, 2026: The Consortium for Educational Communication (CEC) has, for the first time, instituted Awards for Outstanding Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) offered through the SWAYAM platform.
The Proficiency Course in German, designed and taught by Dr. Nishant K. Narayanan of EFLU, and produced by Mr. J. V. Sriram, Producer, EMRC–EFLU, has been selected as the Outstanding CEC MOOC for the January–June 2026 semester.
Marking this achievement, the Vice Chancellor of EFLU, Prof. N. Nagaraju, personally congratulated and felicitated the team, appreciating their dedication to academic excellence, innovative pedagogy, and production quality. His gesture of recognition underlined the University’s culture of celebrating faculty achievements and fostering innovation in teaching and learning. The felicitation ceremony was attended by Ms Sini Manchala, Registrar, and Dr Rajaram, OSD to VC.
This honour emphasises EFLU’s significant contribution to digital education and highlights the University’s continuing efforts to strengthen accessible online learning through the SWAYAM platform.
