HYDERABAD, JUNE 26, 2025: The English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) was awarded the 1st prize for “Excellence in Language Education and Promotion of Multilingualism” at the Government Achievements and Schemes Expo-2025. The prestigious event was organised at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from June 21 to 23, featuring over 100 educational stalls from institutions across the country.
The award was presented in recognition of EFLU’s remarkable contribution and achievements in teaching languages, training, research, and innovation spanning more than six decades. The University’s stall – showcasing the initiatives, programmes, achievements, and the rare publications of the University at the event – was thronged by hundreds of students and other stakeholders. The visitors had animated discussions with faculty members, Dr. K. Raja Ram and Mr. Rakesh Ranjan, who represented the University at the expo.
Vice Chancellor Prof. N. Nagaraju, Registrar (I/c) Prof. K. Narasimha Rao, and other senior academic administrators expressed their delight at EFLU receiving the top honour, reaffirming the University’s commitment to linguistic excellence and multilingual education.
