

KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 22, 2025: On the occasion of completing 30 years of service as the Head of the Telugu Department at Telangana Social Welfare Women’s Degree College, Nagunur, Karimnagar, Erroju Venkateswarlu visited Sri Veerabrahmendra Old Age Home at Housing Board Colony, Karimnagar. He handed over food items to the home’s organiser, Veeramadhav, and distributed biscuits and fruits to the elderly residents.
Speaking on the occasion, organiser Veeramadhav said: “We started this old age home in 2003, and with the cooperation of donors, we have been running it smoothly ever since. At present, 54 elderly people are residing here. In these 22 years, we have also conducted the last rites for nearly 100 people.” He also showed the ongoing permanent building construction for the residents and added, “If donors and the government provide sufficient funds, the building will be completed soon. Then we will be able to provide better facilities for the elderly.”

On this occasion, the college Principal T. Malathi, Vice Principal S. Padmaja, Superintendent Suresh Kumar, and ACO Vasumathi, along with other lecturers, congratulated Venkateswarlu on his dedicated service.
